    Trimming, clipping cat claws
Any ideas on how to clip my cats back claws at home instead of at a vet? I don't want to hurt her or make her bleed.

Key may be help by example, as well as QUALITY nail trimmers. Have you asked your Vet for a quick lesson? I have noticed many older vets become set in there ways about their practice an over look the obvious such as, this is how,. any thing from giving pills, to proper grooming. I have never walked away from a Owner that said hey Doc, you mind showing me..,. I too forget how something as simple as a nail trim can actually be scarry for someone who has not learned how. If you even are to embarrassed to ask your vet, you can still ask a local shelter, humane society, even your mail man, I am sure he hates dogs an has 2 cats.
