A strange kitten disease

My Daughter recently got a kitten from a woman who has had three kittens die in this litter - We didn't know when we got him- Their legs break and their lips become swollen-those are the only symptoms I know of- please has anyone heard of such a disease?

Hello, first and foremost, the best advice I can offer you is take your kitten to a veterinarian. It is very hard to diagnose and animal on the internet. If you would like to do some research please take a look in www.peteducation.com this site is hosted by veterinarian and can be very helpful at time. I wish you the best of luck with your kitten. I did try to research the symptoms my self but with just those two the search was very large.

...that was the advice I gave my Daughter to give to her friend.
