my cat is in labor

my cat had one kitten last night around 12:30 am, we left her to have them and went to bed, she still only has one kitten, and it's 8:21 am.. it feels like there are more kittens in her, and we don't know what to do?? it seems like they should all be born by now. Can we help her? We can feel other movements in her stomach. It's her first litter, and she is almost 1 year old.

It's a bit late after you posted but for what it's worth............first time mom's can have trouble with delivering. If your cat still hasn't delivered more kittens...........I would say she needs to see a vet. It's not uncommon for first time mom's to have problems. More than likely she has just stalled in labor but to be safe, if she still hasn't delivered, I would get help. Cathy
