my kitten seems sick

My family cat had a 3-week your old kittens. Now, one is acting really strange and its not eating and breathing funny. It was perfectly fine before. Do you know what is wrong with my kitten? One already died, and mt family dosnt want anymore dead.

Your kittens need to see a vet it could be any number of problems. You also need to take the momma cat in and have her checked as well.

Also, as a precaution, I would keep the sick kitten away from the others. Let the sick one nurse seperate from the others

They probably have parasites if they have not been dewormed, but they could also have a sickness. You have to take them to the vet if one has already died, because the others have whatever killed the other one.Worms will eat the kittens blood supply, and cause them to become anemic. Most kittens and the mother have parasites, and until they are killed the kittens will be weak, and possibly die.Let us know how things go.

thank you. i took the mother cat, and all the kittens to the vet. The night before, we took the baby to the vet and they chcked him out, saying he was going to die because he had a blood and breathing disorder. The vet said the baby would die, but we kept , and all night we fed it kitty milk and it lived through the night, Now, the vet is doing the best they can to save the baby. If he is still alive, we will go back and adopt the baby cat, and hopefully, the other cats will find a good home.
