weening kittens

hi,
I have 5 lovely kittens 5 weeks old. Mum cat still feeds them regularly but have been trying to ween them. I have provided a mixture of wet and dry food softened with warm water but although they sniff it they are making no attempt to eat any.
They are all healthy and thriving. What do you think, do you think they will eventually start weening themselves.
Mum cat has occasionally put some food on the floor, is this her attempt to ween them?

Put the softened food in a big plate or low edged pan. You may need to warm it a little to make it smell better. Probably best to remove the mom for a little while. The kittens should start to show interest. They will probably wear more than they eat at first, but mom cat will enjoy cleaning them up!
