Help me save my furniture!!!

Does anyone know what I can do to prevent my 3 cats from clawing on my furniture? I have a wonderful pole that one cat uses but not the other 2. Any suggestions for me??

I hope some one more knowlegeble in this department can answer you but i think could it maybe be that the other two want their own post. maybe they do not want to share.

you may want to try getting a second post for cat #2, sometimes cats don't like to share, along with that you can try duct taping tin foil on the places where the cat is clawing they don't like the feeling on their feet. If you can catch them at it you can use a spray bottle set on the jet stream setting.....tell the cat "that's enough" and spray...along with that you must remember to praise your cats when you catch them at their post doing the right thing.. you can also try putting catnip on the post and or treats. Also you may want to trim their nails alittle more often to lessen the damage to your stuff, until they are trained to only use their post.

Good luck

serialwife agrees: I totally agree. Somes putting just double stick tape will make them stop!
