Cats vs. Dogs

1. Few would-be burglars have been thwarted by the meowing of cats.
2. Dogs require commitment to take them outside when nature calls; cats need only a box of sand.
3. Dogs greet you at the door. Cats don't realize you were gone and, frankly, wonder why you're back.
4. Cats bathe themselves. After bathing most dogs, you'll need to take a shower yourself.
5. Dogs forgive. Cat's never forget.
6. Dogs bring you the paper. Cats bring you dead mice.
7. Dogs give you reasons to go outside and enjoy the day. Cats offer excuses to stay inside and cuddle.
8. Hairballs vs. Slobber. Your choice.
9. Kittens are cute and cuddly. Puppies while cute they poop, pee and barf all over your floor.
10. You know it's kitty mating season while they're in the act; dogs are sneaky enough so that you don't know until there are six little pups following your dog around
11. Owners train their dogs; cats train their humans.
12. Garfield vs. Odie; Heathcliff vs. Marmaduke; Morris vs. Scooby Doo. Sure, the cats are smarter, but the dogs are much bigger in two out of three cases and would win in a smackdown.
13. A single guy with a cat can't look cool walking it in the park; a single guy with the right dog is a studly chick magnet.
14. Dogs are bipolar. Cats are manic-depressive.
15. A dog's love is unconditional. Cats would rather just be friends.

I like both equally, both have their adorable qualities.

My uncle had a dog Misty, and she was amazing. My muther told me when I was 2, we were out in the bush all day, so i'd go play with Misty all day, and she wouldn't leave me even though i'd pull her hair, she'd whimper, but stay with me. I'd sit on her, poke her eyes, pick her nose, pull her tonge, and sleep on her. Haha, I remember when i was older, about 11, my uncle would go on trips far up north and leave Misty with us. She didn't like thunder so i'd put her in my room under my bed. My mum would find misty and put her back out, and i'd get up and do it all over again. haha. I loved that dog more then any of the people i knew. I feel the same about Cloe, my cat.
Misty died when i was about 15, I cried for her, but not my grandpa on my dads side. Messed up eh? I miss her still.
I remember one day just laying out in the freshly cut grass in my uncles big yard, like 2-3 achers. Misty and I just chillin, smelling the grass, her warm fur on the back of my neck, the feeling of her breathing, as I watched the clouds go by. I like that memory, but it's fading.

So yeah I like both... Guess i could have just said that eh? hahaha. what eve.

I know this is the cat forum but dogs win hands down. They are loyal... every cat i've met would rather stare at the wall than get petted by me!

My crazy cat won't leave me alone! He wakes me up at night to be petted and loved on! Of course, mine is an exception.
