Cat's recent behavior of the extreme excess meowing

Hello everybody,
We are very scared and so worried about our cat's recent behavior of the extreme excess meowing.
We took our 3 year old male cat to the veterinarian for check up and to also seek an advice regarding this behavior. The vet informed us that he is very healthy and nothing at all appears to be bothering him. He added that he cannot help much with this new behavior though. He said that he might only be bored.
I am seeking your advice regarding this issue. We have tried every possible method to over come this problem but nothing really worked out for us. We play with him daily and he is much loved around the house. He is getting more than enough attention from everybody home. We know that he might be feeling jealous regarding our new born baby, but we never neglected him. Actually, we were and still very sensitive regarding this issue. We made sure that his status as the “only baby in the house” is not threatened by anyway. We made sure to divide our time equally between both him and the baby.
Thank you for your help everyone. Very much appreciated.
