My one cat chews flip flops. I have to keep them in the top of the closet. She likes the foamy type stuff like that.

I don't find anything unusual about it. Sometimes that's just how cats are.

I have met very few cats that didn't like the feel of chewing and scratching flip-flops. It's nothing to be worried about, and the only solution I know is to keep them out of reach.

Does your cat have any scratching posts? Make sure your cat doesn't swallow anything harmful.
