Blood in urine

My 10-year old cat has recently taken to urinating in the various sinks of our house and takes forever to pass even the smallest amounts of urine. Today when I went into the bathroom I noticed that her urine had blood in it, but the next time she urninated it was clear again. Does anyone know what might be wrong with her?

Kidney stones, infection, bladder cancer, your guess is as good as mine.

Please get your pet to the vet, blood in the urine is not a minor problem.

We had a poster on here not to long ago that waited to late to get her cat to the vet and it died. Get your cat to the vet ASAP!

Agreed!! The fact that it's become clear doesn't change the fact that something happened. Not just the blood, but the difficulty in passing urine. There most likely is some type of blockage (maybe just a UTI, which is super simple to fix with antibiotics), or crystals or something. Possibly even a kidney problem. These all need the attention of a vet.
