My 2 year old cat is lethargic.
When I got home yesterday I noticed that he did not run to the door as usually and I had to call him a few times before he came to me. He have not gotten worst today, but what I do noticed is that he is only drinking water but is not eating food and is not going to the bathroom (at least I haven't seen him go). I plan to got to the vet tomorrow, but should I be concern tonight.. I really can't afford to take him to the emergency vet tonight as it it too expensive.. What do you think?

CALL ANYWAY. A good vet will answer your questions and give you advice in the meantime. Actually, whoever answers the phone is sometimes knowledgeable and can help also. PLEASE call. It could be nothing but when you say he's not eating or going to the bathroom, I worry. Some male cats have urinary problems. It's very common. One symptom is that they cannot go to the bathroom. They usually do not feel like eating because of the discomfort. Sometimes it's instinct too that what they are eating is causing a problem. Not always though. It's good that he is drinking water but he may be doing that in an attempt to help him to go to the bathroom. Explain this to the Dr. or whoever you call. He may have to be put on a special diet but I certainly do not know that for sure. I do hope that I am wrong and that it is just a passing virus or tummy ache your kitty has but don't take any chances just in case, OK? Please post back and give the update on your precious kitty's condition. Call now.

Very active... to sleeping all day and night, eating very little and not using the litter box at all. Have NEVER experienced this with any cat. I guess that a visit to the vet is very necessary. *sigh*
