I have a 90 honda accord. With the car started the motor will vibrate rough. When my foot is on the gas it will calm. I checked the motor mounts and all seem ok. I was told that changing the computer could cure that problem. How true is this? Also what else would people use the computers for? I went my local junkyard recently and every 90-94 accord i saw, the computer was gone.

it is possible it can be the computer or the harmonic balancer, ignition system like the plug wires could be broken some were.
