where is the starter located on a 1996 honda accord

Whre should I look for the starter on my 1996 honda accord, my car will not turn over how can check if it is the starter,

1. Ensure battery is fully charged.

2. Check all under-hood and under-dash fuses with a test light or multimeter, paying particular attention to the ACG (S) fuse.

3. Check battery terminals, starter terminals, and solenoid connections for corrosion, after disconnecting the negative battery cable.

4. Check starter solenoid for power.

If you have a 4-cylinder engine, the starter/solenoid should be located just behind and below the distributor. It mounts just above the transaxle housing. The main battery cable, coming from the positive terminal, will lead you to it, regardless of what engine you have.
