VSS location on 97 honda accord v6

VSS location on 97 honda accord v6

I have a 97 honda accord V6 and my mechanic thinks it may be the VSS. CaptainRich seems to believe it may be the wiring harness or coil.

Question - Does either of these have anything to do with the Tachometer?
