My VW Polo jumps while while driving.

My VW Polo jumps while while driving.

In the last month I found the car would jump occasionally while driving like if you were in the wrong gear.

However, the over day the car did some serious bucking I changed down gear I thought the engine had cut out, but it hadn't.

Please can somebody advise.
