    Honda Cr-V 1998 won't start
    Hey there! Just sea foam my car and then it won't start any more. Just changed the radiator. Brakes rotor and distributor cap... NO SPARK! PLEASE HELP ME...

    . Review the work performed inside the distributor. Did you disturb anything? Did you install the correct parts properly? Did you disconnect the negative battery cable, prior to working on the distributor.

    . Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil, located inside the distributor, if the problem persists. Be sure to apply silicone heat transfer grease to the back of the new ICM.

    I Did not touch any thing except for the rotor and cap. Can I first just change the coil and see if it will work? Or I need to change both?

    You can try that but the most problematic component is the ICM. Since you need to remove the rotor and leak shield, it's best to do both at the same time. I recommend replacing each of them every 120,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first.

    Disconnect the negative. Battery cable and follow the detailed instructions I sent you.
