    Re: Plinking noise from speakers
Hey, I had a weird sound coming from my speakers a while back and after trying to figure out what it was and playing around in volume control I finally got it back to normal. If you go into your volume control panel (usually found in the bottom right hand corner of your screen) and adjust the volume sliders all to the middle setting, your sound should be back to normal... if not you might have just cranked your stereo to high and have blown a speaker. But hope this works out for you OK. ;)
