I am trying to install an air supply system in my vehicle. Space constraints have dictated the use of compressed air tanks, but no vehicle mounted air compressor. My two questions are these:
If I use a HP air tank(3,000+psi) regulated at approximately 150psi, through the air lines to my air horns, will there be enough airflow/volume to ensure a decent 1-4 second blast?
If not, will I need to set up a dual air tank system, using a HP tank (reservoir) and a LP tank (150psi) as the supply tank?
Any suggestions, ideas, answers, and questions are appreciated...
