Production dates

Is there a way to find out the production date (as in month) if the sticker on the drivers side door is unreadable?

Yes, the VIN number normally gives you this type of information, the trick is being able to read it.

Google for the VIN decoder for your vehicle. Then, you should easily be able to find out the information you need. Otherwise, call the parts department of your local dealer and they should be able to provide you that information from your VIN.

This can get some of what you want but your local dealer can get more if you ask nicely.
