. Check the timing belt--it may have snapped. Since this is an interference engine, the results could be disasterous.

. Check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter:

Be very thorough, since it will save a lot of time and money.

. Check for codes, by attaching a code reader to the data link connector, located under the dash.

The car starts now with no problem and i didnt do anything. But im nurvous about driving it. the first tow cost enough. i checked all the fluids and couldn't see any parts out of place. i don't know whitch belt is the timeing belt but if it is on the left side of the engine then it's still good and tight. I dont have a multi meter but I checked the fuses and couldn't see any that were burnt out. I called a mechanic and when i told him that it started the next day just fine he said he had never heard of a car with this problem before. haveing said that is there anything i have mentioned that could help further?

Thanks Ed
