Oil symptoms
Hi There Guys

My Mazda Rustler 1400 is runing sluggish ,when I pull away in first gear she
stuttors before she moves can be time to replace clutch and presure plate.
Other concern is the exhaust is black and a black spot around the outside of the exhaust tailpiece. What is causing that?

Guys Iwould appreciate all your input on these matters please.

Usually Black exaust would be over fueling and that could also cause shuttering because it is getting to much fuel and putting out the spark also what year is it

Is your electrical system in good shape? When did you last replace spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, and plug wires? Other problem areas are igniters, coils, and oxygen sensors. Is your Mazda throwing any codes? A bad oxygen sensor/connector can dramatically affect fuel/air ratios and performance. Is you Mazda burning oil? What year is your Mazda and how many miles has it gone? How long have you owned it and how well has it been maintained?
