Where is the best location to install the oil pressure gauge for a "Correct" reading?

A "Mechanical" gauge,sorry!

1. Remove the oil pressure sender unit.
2. Install a "T", without using teflon tape.
3. Reinstall sender unit in one side of the "T", mechanical oil pressure connector in the other.
4. Reattach wiring to the sender unit and tubing to the gauge.

Thank You txgreasemonkey! I thought I knew the answer but wanted to give my son the "Right" answer.Again,thank you very much.Hey,I've got another one if you don't mind.My son and I are fixing up his 1st car,a 1979 Lincoln TownCar.We can not find a, what I call a vent window, for the drivers side front window.We've done the salvage yard search around here but still haven't found one.I'd even buy a whole door, if the price was right.Thank You Sir!!!
