Mazda B-2600 stalls out after warming up

I have a 1992 Mazda B-2600 pickup that starts up and runs good until it is warmed up, but then it will stall out and either not start back up or run so rough that it is not driveable. Once it cools down, it starts and runs normally again until it gets up to normal temperature.

Also, when I unplug the coolant/temp. sensor (located in the thermostat housing), the engine smooths back out and runs normal. I tried putting in a used sensor, but the sputtering/stalling returned ??? Should I replace the coolant/temp. sensor ??? Is this possibly the problem ???

Thanks.

Change the igniter (most likely) and coil. Here's what the igniter looks like and costs:

Here's what the coil looks like and costs:

Autozone may be able to test these items for free. My recommendation, however, is to replace them, due to the age of the truck. These are problematic components and reliability is worth something. If the problem persists, focus on the fuel injection main relay.

One thing that I forgot to mention when I posted my question concerning the 1992 Mazda B-2600 stalling, I can unplug the coolant temperature sensor (mounted in the thermostat housing), and when I unplug the wires from the sensor, the motor smooths out a runs good ???? I tried another sensor (used) and the motor would still sputter and stall ??? Should I go buy a new coolant sensor or is it something else???
