Lincoln LS Dies When Put in Gear

Lincoln LS Dies When Put in Gear

I have a 2000 Lincoln LS. After driving on the highway and then being shut off, it dies when put in gear. This does not happen on short hops around town. It also does not happen if it sits for about an hour. I'm thinking it's the TCC solenoid. Any other suggestions?
