evap canister and valve for honda civic lx 2000

just curious how much parts and labor should be for replacing canister and evap valve for my car. auto shop said around 450.00 $ just wondering if im about to be hosed or not.....

If you're able to do it yourself you would probably save about $100 or so but if you're not about to rip into it yourself then I would say it's about right. Plus you will have the work pretty much warrantied. The 2000 Civic has been known to have EVAP issues.
