Keyless entry

I have a 2001 S-10 with after market keyless entry, it has trc on the remote, the remote will only unlock my driver's side door, if i use my key on the passenger door it will unlock both, but key will only unlock driver door if i use it on it. Any help would be nice, Thank YOU Michael
