I have a 2002 Cadillac Seville and when I got in the car today and started it gat around the corner and I noticed that the interior lights would not go out for some reason, I drove 20 miles to work and they stayed on is there some trick to turning them out?

Most cars have 3 settings for interior lighting. Auto (goes on and off with the opening and closing of the door), on and off. This is usually controlled with one of two swiches, either the switch to brighten and dim the dash lights or the actual switch to turn on and off the headlights. You can usually tell the difference between auto and on because the on position is usually the last position after full brightening of the dash lights and will click in position.

If it is not that then it is the switch inside the door jamb that the door closes against to turn them off.
