| Try jumping it. If it starts, likely the battery is the problem. If not, try shorting the selonid terminals. Be very careful. Lay the blade of a screwdriver on the starter terminal, and maintaining contact, piviot the screwdriver to contact the battery cable terminal. If it turns over, likely the solinoid is bad. If the battery is known to be good, and it doesn't turn over, likely the starter is bad. You can also try jumping it directly to the starter. Either way, make sure manual transmissions are out of gear. You are bypassing thesafty interlocks. The dealer or Honda website should be able to sort out which models were recalled. The dealer shold be able to check if your car was already repaired. |
