New Transmission only works in reverse and first gear

A transmission guy built a brand new transmission for my 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD 6cyl. It only works in reverse and first gear. He's tried everything, including taking it apart and putting it back together 3 times. There is a new wiring harness, new transmission control unit, new main computer, new TPS... HELP!
