| | | hooking up a cb radio
i bought a midland model 1000 and i heard that you can take the black and red wires from your cb radio and put it into a cigerette lighter plug. how would i do this and how hard is it? also im wonedering how you hook it up regularly to your fuse box, please tell me which hole to plug which plug into. thank you

| Unless you have a cigarette adapter, you cannot simply push the wires into the socket and make it work. Red wire is hot wire and black should be ground. |

Make certain the cigarette socket works, too. The phone charger could be adapted, depends on the design. | |

That may depend on the antenna mount and location. You shouldn't have a problem with damage, unless the door is hitting metal to metal now. Just stay away from the hinges and the latch.
