Honda accord 2002 stereo lock

I changed my battery. Upon reconnection my stereo is asking for a code. I have the radio/stereo serial (8-digit) code as well as the VIN, could anyone help me with a car dealer that will give me no flack when I call before givng me the unlock code? Phone number and /or email address of any reasonable car dealer would help. Please help soon, the silence in my car is killing! Mr ddollinger you there?
