| Yes, various government agenies, Cities, counties, state departments, and foresty service and the such all have autions from time to time.
There are not normally any "ONE" big auction like you see on TV adds but each city will have thier own, where they sell allof thier items from type writers to lawn mowers and so on, each having a few cars.
There was one in southern Ill a month or so ago and old police cars with 100,000 miles went for about 600 to 1000 dollars each ( cash or approved check)
There are not cars selling for 10 dolalrs, at leats not that run. The better advertised the sell the more buyers and the higher things sell for.
Most are advertised basicly by placing thier adds in the legal section of local papers.
So if you check the legal adds you will see varoious types of adds.
