Glove Comparment won't open!

Hi, I have a 1999 Honda Civic LX Sedan and my glove comparment is stuck. The glove compartment itself has no lock on it. It just feels like it's locked. I assume something is lodged somewhere. I've banged it around with my fist, my ice scraper...all just to dislodge whatever may be there and then to open my compartment, but it's no use. Is there anyway I can remove it another way? I just need to get to my registration info. Please help!

flat head screw drivers work wonders, and if all else fails get a crow bar, i know it may possibly break it if you are to use the crowbar, but, the screw driver will open it enough where possibly you can get your hand in there and get your information out without breaking it and making it look bad.

If you look under the bottom of the glove box door you will see screws that hold the door on . just remove those and you can shift the door down enough to get it open. The screws are probably just phillips but they may be torxs bits or 7mm hex heads.
