Ford Mustang

I have a 1999 Ford Mustang Cobra. I have put a new starter, Alt, battery, tune up. I am still having trouble starting it. It starts sometimes and doesn't start others. I have had it towed twice to mech and then it starts right up after getting off truck. It just was down for two weeks and now it started again.

When it doesn't start, I have full power(Radio/Lights) but it may click or just nothing. I am going crazy with it. I would swear it is the starter, but why would it start after getting off truck and after sitting in drive for 2 weeks? Thanks!

Pat

Actually I have seen more than one of these with this problem. I come from the second largest Ford Dealership in the U.S. so I see alot of common problems. Anyways If I recall right first I would check the ground cable from the Battery which should be located on the drivers side down by the oilpan for corrosion have seen alot of these usually I end up replacing the Battery Cables because it could possibly be corroding inside the cable. Little Bit of a pain to do but not bad.

xplosionscore agrees: It sounds good. I thought it may be a lose wire somewhere. I will try it! Thanks!
