I'm currently rebuilding a head for my 93 civic (D15B7 SOHC), and I was just wondering how the valve seals are removed. This is my first time rebuilding a overhead cam head, and my manual really blows with giving directions, so any help with head work would be great. Also when I removed the cam, I noticed that the cam holders where scored from the cam, camshaft no good, but I'm hoping the head is still good. Is there any way to fill in, or smooth out the scores? And is there any other higher end camshafts from another honda that will fit in replace of the stock camshaft?
