where is the map sensor located on the ford galaxy tdi 1.9 1999

I don't recognize that model. It might not be US.
The MAP sensor may be located on the "firewall" or engine compartment bulkhead, or on the engine itself.

Look for a mounted sensor with a two-wire connector and a vacuum hose attached.
