I turned car heater on high without noticing that my husband had the air conditioner on and didn't turn it off. I ran it this way for awhile until I noticed the green ac light. Now, the heater will not heat properly. Car is a 2003 Kia Sorento

Although not gas efficient I don't see a problem leaving the a/c on... if your car is not getting heat check the thermostat, or heater core. Heat and a/c are too very different systems on a vehicle.

Having the ac on shouldn't have effected the heater... if its not getting hot you might possibly have a problem with your heater core
