car does not start

I was backing my car up to park and my car jumped and stopped working the lights would nnot come on at first then they came on but the car would not start and there is a red blinking light on the dashboard. the car does not even make a sound when turning the key

Check the condition of the battery and both ends of both ot the battery cables.

a red blinking light on the dash is probably the check engine light. The car has a computer that will store codes if something is working properly. There are scan tools at repair shops and even small ones you can buy cheaply at autozone or advanced auto that will allow you to read these codes, and go from there to fix your car.
