Can you believe this ?

Guys, you're gonna love this ! Yesterday we went over to see my wife's friend. When we got there, her husband and his pal were working on their daughter's car. They had the dash out and were fooling around with the wiring. He is a retired computer repairman and his pal is a mechanic for a grocery chain.
Well I watch them for a bit and asked what they were trying to fix. It seems both the headlights had quit working in the car.
Well, these guys don't like me a whole lot. I am a bit obsessive about my things. I have even heard them calling me "Monk" behind my back. My stuff is old but I like to take real good care of it. House, cars, tools, etc everything has a place, and everything gets cleaned.
Anyway, I asked if they had checked the bulbs. Of course, they hadn't. I urged them to try that. Finally just to shut me up, they found a good bulb. Put that one in and it lit up. Tried it in the other side and it lit up there too. Now, this is killing me ! I am dying inside trying not to laugh my butt off !
Since I am supposed to ask a question, how about : What do you guys think of these two arrogant butts? Hey these two know everything and think everyone else is stupid.
Am I wrong in enjoying this to the max ?

You aren't wrong in enjoying it immensely. But if you want to keep peace in your circle, you will enjoy it privately.

I totally understand that ! Been married to this gal 39 years now and I would never do anything to jeapordize her friendship with her friend, even though the husband is a bit of a jerk. I reset their t-stat recently because their AC wasn't coming on. I simply killed the power to the unit, removed the batteries and reconnected it. His response was "You got lucky". LOL

Yes, I am laughing my A off silently, of course.
Thank you for your reply.

People who don't know much, think those that do are "Monks." People who know a lot, know enough to allow the others to grow up without being arrogant themselves.
