Brakes problem
Brakes problem
2003 Chrysler Grand Voyager limited 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 134000 miles
I have a chrysler grand voyager 2003 limited edition, had an abs problem which I fixed it by changing the rear abs sensor. 2 days after I fixed the abs problem the car brake warning light in dash cluster started to come on when I put foot on the brake pedal. It turns off approx 10 seconds after I take the foot of the pedal or with in 2-5 seconds after putting the foot on the accelerator. Tried to retrive codes from computer but there is nothing there. Your help in this matter will be highly regarded thanks

Are you talking about the red brake warning light?
If so, inspect all brake pads and/or shoes for wear. Replace any that are excessively worn.
Inspect brake hoses and brake pipes for leaks. Check brake fluid level at the master cylinder reservoir and refill with clean brake fluid from a new, sealed container.

Change the brake fluid with an ABS approved fluid. This will purge any moisture, air, and crud in the system. It will help prevent corrosion and allow the calipers to operate efficiently and last a long time. Do this every two years. This will help you avoid a $2,400 ABS repair bill, which my father recently got on his Camry.

There is no pressure transducer. The light is triggered by either a low fluid level or by the parking brake.
Make certain the parking brake is fully release and check that the fluid level is correct.
