1995 Chevy cavalier died on me?

hello, i own a 1995 chevy cavalier and it drives fine i bought it used two months ago but today i pulled out of my driveway and i put it in drive after reversing and it shut off and then after 2 minutes and 2 attempts it let me start it back up and it drove fine. but i was on my way home and it feels like its slowly dying. ive been told my battery needs charging does that sound like thats whats wrong with it because no battery or engine light was on until it did this today. and they have gone off ?

No i dont think its a battery problem. Or it wouldnt start. Does it feel bogged down when you press on the gas? Have you changed the air/oil/fuel filters lately? Or have you changed the oil or anything?

yes it does feel bogged down
and in may we got the milege package down and they did the oil and stuff

but it only does it sometimes
and today it just completely stopped and then after 2 attempts it came on and drove alright until it was time to leave and start it up ok and it felt like it was dying the whole 3 blocks home.
