alternator keeps burning up and wont charge battery on 1990 accord

I have a 1990 honda accord ex 5-speed and my alternator keeps going out when I uuse my lights and I have replaced it 3 times I need to knoe what is causeing it my dash lights start to go dim then its will just run on the battery til it dies what is going on?

U need to check the current that runs to your alternator...and then check the voltage supply of your lamp and try put a voltage/current filter(resistor and capacitor) normally 100k and 1000mf electrolytic capacitor so that it the voltage and current going to your lamp can be controlled.

The problem could be with the battery, not the alternators.
