throttle body problem

I drive a '93 Mazda mx3. When it is warm outside the engine's idle just starts to go higher the longer I have the car running. I have a feeling that there's something wrong with the throttle body or the throttle wire to the accelerator. Any input would be great. If needed, how much would a throttle body cost for my car and can it be installed by myself? Thanks.
