95 honda civic dies after cutting car off

my 95 honda civic after i get a boost starts and drives fine but its only after i cut the car off the batterie dies causing me to have to get another boost. what can cause this?

Remove and fully charge/replace the battery. Most auto parts stores will test and charge batteries for free. They will also test alternators for free, which you should also be sure to do. Jumping batteries, which I advise you not to do, can cause a voltage spike which can destroy your ECM, alternator, and sensors--it gets pretty ugly.
