95 accord: I can't pull out my key

Whenever it gets cold, It takes a while before I could take my key out of my 95 Honda Accord's ignition. It does not allow me to turn the key all the way to the point where I can pull the key out. I had it last winter but did not do anything about it because if I wait long enough the key would turn all the way and I could get the it out. Also, if I drive for a good distance where the car is fully warmed up, it comes out without much wait, if at all. Someone told me it had to do with expantion and contraction of some part but I forgot what he said. Can you help me?
