2000 Honda Civic Cuts off

My daughter's 2000 Civic has 38000 miles. Since October 2005, once in a while the engine just cuts off. Then it takes 10 to 15 minutes to re-start. Has happened 6-7 times since. Took it to dealer, who ran diagnostics, could not find anything wrong. Took it to my mechanic, installed new ignition switch, still did again.
