93 Honda Civic Ex Starting Problems

So here is the story, while driving home my car just stopped running. Everything electrical works (lights, radio, horn, ect.) I tried dumping the clutch thinking I just stalled it. Nothing happened. So I started checking usual things, fuses, spark plugs, wires, what have you and figured out I wasn't getting any spark. So I replaced the rotor, coil, module, wires, the whole works and still nothing. I was reading earlier about checking the error codes. First off My check engine only comes on when i turn the key and then turns off, It never comes back on. So basically telling me there is nothing wrong. But when I do the wire test, the light just stays on. So I'm guessing I need a new ECU unit. Do anyone have any suggestions? Also my civic is a coupe, but the catch is that it doesn't say EX or SI on it. My valve cover doesn't say VTEC on it either, so am I look at a 1.5L or a 1.6L engine?

Perform the K-Test on the ECM:

The K-Test: Remove the MAP Sensor connector and turn the ignition switch to ON (Position II). Using a multimeter, check for 5 volts going between the MAP Sensor connector's reference wire (+) and ground. As you look at the connector, this is the socket on the right. Really press the black test lead into a cleaned main ECM ground on the thermostat housing. If the voltage is low, it’s probably indicating ECM failure. Most failed ECMs will record a fraction of a volt. To me, the K-Test is simple, elegant, and accurate.

You can find out what engine you have by recording the number on the engine block. It's usually located just to the left of the exhaust manifold.
