92 honda hatch w/ ls vtec swap problems starting

Ok so i have a problem with the car not starting because i am not getting any spark... I have checked the distributer, and all the wires are measuring out right with the right readings..... So what we were thinking that it might just be the ECU but i dont want to get a new one because i have been reading some diff kinds of stuff on this sight that makes me wounder if it could be some of the stuff mentioned........ So what i was woundering is they were saying in one of the forums that it could be a sensor that you really can test or something i dont really know alot about this but if anyone has any suggestions to start off with i would really really like that
