92 acura intergra 1.8L

the car was running great just put a new fuel pump in bc it wasnt getting gas and my friend was driving it last night and it stop on him and it was cranking over fine but it wasn`t getting any spark bc i check it with a timing light ...so he got it tow home and i came back up and tryed it and it start up fine and let it run and drove it for a mile or so came back to the house shut it off and it wouldnt start untile i crank it over 2 times and it start up and shut it off and start up fine and got back in and found the check eng light on and pulled the code it came up as code 8 ....it flash 8 times short and flash 8 more times short and look it up and saying tdc senor and found its in the disb but the disb is only about a year and 1/2 old and it came from autozone and now they dont have no log that it was bought there so i can`t even swap it out .......would should i do next bc it starts up and runs fine then it will shut off just like if someone turn the key off plase help thanks ...miles 220,000

Replace just the distributor housing with a genuine Honda part. Install your current Ignition Control Module and coil in the new Honda housing. We've had lots of problems with most aftermarket distributors for Hondas. I only recommend genuine Honda, when it comes to this part.
