need for 79 chevy

i am trying to find a diagram of the wiring harness for 1979 3/4 ton 4*4 chevy pickup

i need to know which wires run to the starter and which post on the starter do they go to

Try your local library. Mitchells manuals cover virtually every system on domestic and import cars and trucks, old and new. A few cents spent on their copy machine will provide all the info that you need. Mitchells is much more comprehensive than Motors or Chiltons etal.
